About

We build the tool we wished we'd had.

Mailwynx comes out of years of doing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace migrations the hard way — and being let down by the tools that were supposed to help.

The problem we kept hitting

Every migration engineer knows the feeling. The mail copies over fine, the client signs off, and then the tickets start: the calendar came over as a pile of single events with the recurring meetings flattened, half the invites lost their attendees, the contacts never showed up at all. The mail-only tool did the easy part and left you to rebuild the pieces users actually notice — by hand, on a weekend.

The expensive incumbents did more, but charged per mailbox, so every large project came with a tooling bill you had to either absorb or explain. And almost all of them routed client data through their own cloud, which turned every security-conscious client conversation into a compliance detour.

What we decided to build

Mailwynx started as an internal tool with three non-negotiables: move more than just the mail — calendars and contacts too — run it inside our own environment, and stop paying by the seat. Once other MSPs saw it, they wanted it too. So we turned it into a product — same three principles, still true today.

What we believe

A migration isn't finished when the mail arrives. It's finished when the client logs in and finds their calendar and contacts waiting too. That's the bar we hold ourselves to, and it's why Mailwynx carries the calendar and contact detail that mail-only tools skip. We think the people doing the work should keep the margin, not hand it to a licensing meter — and that a client's data should never have to leave the perimeter you're responsible for.
