Three steps
From download to first migration
Open it
Just double-click Mailwynx.exe — nothing to unzip or install. Everything it needs is bundled inside, so there's no Python to set up and no dependencies to manage.
The dashboard opens
A small black window stays open — that's Mailwynx running; leave it open while you work. Your browser opens automatically to the Mailwynx dashboard at 127.0.0.1:8770.
Connect source & destination
Follow the guided wizard: pick the source and destination provider, paste in the API credentials, choose mailboxes, and hit migrate. The step-by-step docs walk through Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and IMAP.
Activate your license
Add your key from the command line
Make a folder on your Desktop
On your Desktop, create a folder called Mailwynx and move Mailwynx.exe into it — that gives the app somewhere to keep its data.
Open Command Prompt inside it
Open the folder, click the address bar at the top (where the folder path shows), type cmd and press Enter. A black Command Prompt window opens already pointing at the folder — no path to type.
Prefer to do it by hand? Open Command Prompt from the Start menu and run cd %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Mailwynx first.
Run the activate command
Paste in the key from your account (it looks like MW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and press Enter:
.\Mailwynx.exe activate MW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXThe key is tied to that machine and keeps working offline for up to 7 days. Moving to a new PC? Free up the old machine in your account first, then activate on the new one.
Before you start
What you need
A Windows PC
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. 4 GB RAM is plenty. No server, no admin rights required — it runs as a normal desktop app.
Nothing to install
Mailwynx.exe bundles Python and everything else — no runtime to install and no dependencies to manage. Just download and run.
Provider access
Admin on the source and destination tenants so you can register the API app (M365) or service account (Google). The docs show exactly which permissions.
